I love the fall, it’s one of my favorite times of the year. There are tons to do and the weather is so beautiful. The autumn colors surround you as you sip on your favorite coffee or tea, admiring God’s creation. Weekends are full of fall festivals, football games, and fall shopping of course. I had to slip that in! Not to mention trying new recipes and apple picking for all kinds of delicious apple treats. Although my kids are back in school and our schedule is much busier than the summer months, it’s still an exciting season of the year.
As the leaves begin to change and the air turns crisp, it’s time to bring the cozy magic of fall to your front porch. Whether you love traditional pumpkins or a more modern neutral palette, your front porch is the perfect place to create a warm welcome for the season.
With lots of decorating and hosting opportunities, there are plenty of family and friends memorizes to be made. To start off this season I love to create a welcoming entrance to my home. Colorful mums are the ultimate fall plants. They’re very affordable and creates a welcoming fall anchor. I love combining two or three different color blooms in one big pot. It’s just beautiful and such an eye-catcher.

Glam is definitely a new outside trend that I’m seeing more often, and I love it! Mixed metals can make your most boring space come to life. Silver, gray, and gold tones look fresh and modern and can be applied to almost any surface. You will see this trend applied to everything from pumpkins to faux fruit. Have fun with it!
